BASI Pilates in Australia holds a special place in the heart of founder Rael Isacowitz. In 1989 Rael started the first teacher training program for students in Sydney and now over 30 years later BASI Pilates has over 15,000 graduates across the globe.
BASI Pilates Australia offers a wide range of programs alongside the traditional BASI Pilates Matwork and Global Comprehensive teacher training programs. These highly respected college-level Pilates teacher training programs prepare students to teach Pilates professionally.
BASI Pilates Australia has host studios in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Cairns, Canberra, Gold Coast and a new studio in the Sunshine Coast running certificate courses.
Additionally BASI Pilates Australia offers ProBridge, advanced and continuing education workshops & Master level symposiums.

Comprehensive Global Program
The Comprehensive Global Program includes the Mat Program as well as a thorough and complete education in Pilates covering the full range of Pilates equipment (Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ped-a-pul, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector and various other Auxiliary apparatus).
Our next full Comprehensive Pilates teacher training course dates are set for 2023 in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Canberra and the Sunshine Coast.

MATWORK PROGRAM
Pilates mat teacher training is the perfect vehicle for learning the principles of the Pilates Method. It is affordable, easy to integrate into different settings and a great way to introduce people to Pilates.
The next Matwork teacher training course is scheduled to start in Perth on Friday, 21 October 2022.

ADVANCED EDUCATION WORKSHOPS
BASI’s Advanced Education workshops are held across Australia and allow Pilates professionals to benefit from learning the BASI Pilates system.
